Golden Age Steinways, often thought of as those produced between the end of WWI and the Great Depression, are treasured collector items that thousands of piano hunters seek out every year. And until the early 2000s, were also considered the best pianos the world had ever seen before or after.
This specific Steinway M was traded by a Toronto-based owner who had the instrument fully restored, including brand new pinblock and pins, fully restrung with factory-spec strings, a full brand-new Renner action (the owner’s preference), and a full restoration of the original soundboard and cabinet.
The piano will be sold with a concert bench, with full touch-ups to the cabinet (photos show a few minor blemishes which will be resolved at or before the point of sale).
The piano is approx 5’7” in length and 58” in width, with the trademark Steinway tone.
Perfect for players of any level, and those seeking a rich classic accent piece for their home.
