Patrick Smith is a woodwinds specialist who plays and teaches saxophone, clarinet, flute, and piano. He has extensive experience in jazz, classical, and pop genres. He is currently in his third year of a Bachelor?s degree in Music Performance at the University of Toronto.
Originally from Ottawa, Patrick moved to Toronto in 2013 and has since been playing and teaching professionally across the city and the surrounding GTA. He has eight years of experience playing saxophone, four years of experience playing clarinet, three years of experience playing flute, and twelve years of experience playing piano.
Outside of teaching Patrick leads a jazz fusion group called 21C and a jazz standards trio. He also plays extensively in the groups of others (Thom Mason Quartet, Baseless, and Art the Big Band) and does freelance work in corporate and theatre circles.
