For 1 week, you’ll get to jam, thrash, rehearse, record, and perform with Canada’s finest coaches, in a brand-new $2,000,000 facility. You’ll get free reign over a full commercial recording studio, and get a video recording in our incredible Studio A.  Here’s just a short list of what to expect:

Performance and Broadcast Centre

The Merriam Performance & Broadcast Centre is a multi-purpose facility located at Merriam Music’s Oakville campus. It has been equipped with some of the most advanced lighting and visual equipment of any single room in Canada. It’s also been wired, top-to-bottom, for sound. This year’s edition of the Rock Band Camp will be the first to take advantage of this incredible opportunity, and all performances as well as many other modules of the camp will take place in this one-of-a-kind room. The facility boasts several extremely impressive features, such as:

Recording Studio

The Merriam Productions Recording Studio is 2014’s most talked-about studio opening in Toronto. Designed by Piltchner and Associates, this fully commercial studio boasts many of the same features and attention to detail as most of todays multi-million dollar studios from New York and Los Angeles. It’s here that campers will get a chance to learn the basics of Protools, recording, and what it takes to lay down an album in today’s technological world of music.

• Gorgeous “B” room containing our hand-made 7′ semi-concert grand piano
