PIANO RENTAL

Merriam Pianos offers event / short-term rentals and installations of grand pianos throughout the GTA.  We rent a wide variety of sizes and quality levels of pianos, depending on your needs.

Starting for as low as $1249, we can deliver, tune, and pick up a piano for your GTA-based event with no hassle and perfect execution.  No outdoor rentals – some exceptions apply.

For a 1 to 3 day rental, prices start as follows: (*taxes not included):

• $1249+*              Professional Upright Piano
• $1,500+*             Baby Grand Piano: (5′ – 5’5″ in length)
• $1,600+*             Standard Grand Piano: (5.5 – 6′ in length)
• $1,800+*             Premium Grand Piano: (~ 6′ in length)
• $2,300+*             Concert Grands – (7′-9′, subject to availability)

FAQ’s

Q:  How long can I rent a piano for?

A:  We rent pianos private clients for up to 30 days, and for corporate customers, longer contract lengths are available.

Q:  I’m starting to take piano lessons – can I just rent until I know if I’m going to like it?

A:  Merriam offers a wide range of financing and leasing options for people wishing to lessen the up-front costs of piano purchase.  We don’t recommend renting for this purpose, because of its relatively high cost compared with longer-term purchase plans.

Q:  How far in advance do I have to book?

A:  We ask that you contact us at least 14 days in advance of your event, to ensure availability of both the pianos, as well as moving logistics.
