IF WE’RE INTERESTED IN BUYING YOUR PIANO….

• Option 1: We’ll reach back out to you with an offer to purchase, which means you’ll be paid for your piano right away, and we’ll become the owners. We’ll then arrange to pick the instrument up from you, bring it to our shop, and perform all the repair and inspection work required to sell and warranty the piano
• Option 2: If a piano’s market value is difficult to assess, either because the instrument is rare, of particularly high value, or the spread in comparable past sales is too wide, consignment is a good option for both parties. We agree on a ‘split’ of the net profits of the sale, and everyone receives a fair share of the final sale. You remain the owner of the piano until it sells, but we manage its sale and preparation.
• Option 3: In-Home consignment is where your piano remains in your home, but we market it and manage customer communications on your behalf. Your share of the final sale will be higher, but you need to designate certain days and times where we could conceivably bring a possible buyer to evaluate the instrument. The approach is very similar to a real estate agent showing your home. 

IF WE’RE NOT INTERESTED IN BUYING YOUR PIANO

There are a variety of reasons why your piano may not be the right fit for us. Either because we’ve not had success in the past with similar instruments, or we may be over-stocked with that type, or its condition may be too poor to warrant fixing it up.

In those cases, we’ll advise of disposal options, or tips on how to resell your piano on your own.
