Yamaha Upright Pianos
Since the 1970’s the Yamaha name in North America has always been associated with quality and value. For many years Kawai and Yamaha upright pianos were considered the standard for a college and university practice room or teaching studio. They offered a perfect blend of durability, sound quality, and price and also were endorsed by many famous musicians. The Yamaha upright piano has been known for its brighter more percussive sound which works for certain types of music.
The C109 Yamaha upright piano that we are selling was originally purchased in 2006 and has had one owner. We have taken this piano on trade from a family that decided to upgrade to a grand piano. The condition of this piano is like new inside, with a couple exterior scratches and chips from regular use. The C109 model is the predecessor of the Yamaha B1 upright piano that was released in 2012. The Yamaha B1 is currently assembled in Indonesia or China and is considered an entry level model. This would be a great choice for a family looking for a quality piano at a low price.
