Knowing virtually nothing about pianos, the no pressure, honest recommendations and patience of Merriam’s staff in terms of assisting me in determining the best option for our first grand piano, was exceptional. The excellent customer service continues post sales/delivery too! As for the recommended choice for a piano, the Kawai GM-10K, in my opinion has been very reliable mechanically and has great sound for its size. As a, it’s been referred to as a “Student or Entry Level piano”, I am extremely satisfied with the build quality/value and I believe even seasoned pianists would be delighted with the piano as well. My daughter absolutely loves its playability. After two years, she still “babes” it by giving it a good dusting and polishing periodically. That, says a lot, trust me!
