The Kawai RX series (used RX2, Kawai RX3, etc) was released in 1995 and is one of the most important products to hit the market in the last 30 years. A used Kawai RX3 is one of the hardest used pianos to find due to its popularity online and limited production. At 6’1″ it’s a versatile size that is ideal for a church, small venue, or even a larger home. The used Kawai RX3 is also a nice piano for doing some basic recording on.

The Kawai RX3 was also much more expensive than the RX2 since there were a lot less built, and it had a higher material cost. At 6’1″ the used Kawai RX3 has a nice full, rich sound, and a very powerful bass. This piano also features a full composite action, a locking mechanism, and excellent tuning stability. If you look on some of the more popular websites like www.pianoworld.com or www.pianobuyer.com the used Kawai RX3 is considered the most well reviewed piano around $30,000 along with the Yamaha C3, Boston 193, and Gebr. Perzina 188.

This 1999 used Kawai RX3 grand piano was originally used in our recital hall and was recently made available for sale buy our rental fleet department. It’s rare to find used Kawai RX3 pianos especially this young and in this condition.
