Nordheimer is one of the oldest and most respected names in Canadian music history. The company was founded in Toronto by brothers Samuel and Abraham Nordheimer in 1844. The company flourished through the second half of the nineteenth century and established a tremendous reputation for building quality pianos. In 1927, Heintzman purchased the Nordheimer name and continued to build pianos under the moniker for several decades.
This Nordheimer NU09 upright piano is finished in a classic ebony polish and features a sleek, legless cabinet design. At just under the $3000 price mark, it is an excellent piano for a hobbyist or family looking to bring music into their home. It still has plenty to offer musically and provides a very rewarding playing experience both in terms of touch and tone.
