Schaff 4012 Small Grand Dolly

The Schaff 4012 Small Grand Dolly is intended for use with grand pianos sized 4’8″ to 5’11”. It features four 5″ swivel casters with individual brakes, providing smooth maneuverability and secure, stable positioning for safe transport and placement.

Versatile For Any Venue

Schaff piano dollies are perfect for schools, theaters, churches, recording studios, or anywhere you need to move a grand piano more than a few inches. It is never recommended for grand pianos to be moved any distance on their own legs. It will cause the bolts to strip and eventually break the legs. Piano dollies allow for easy and safe movement of acoustic pianos across both solid surfaces and carpets within virtually any space.

Heavy-Duty Durable Design

Schaff piano dollies are expertly made to the highest possible quality standards in the USA. The dollies have a powder coat black baked on finish and are equipped with three 5″ diameter, swivel casters with black polyurethane “Hi-Tech” wheels. They’re made of solid 1/2″ thick U.S. steel and have brakes on all three of the wheels to prevent the piano from shifting position when in use. Performers can play with total confidence in Schaff dollies.

Perfect Performance

Schaff piano dollies are equipped with steel telescoping arms that are easily adjusted to the angle of the piano legs at the center of the dolly. At the end of each leg is a 3-1/2″ square swivel socket to hold the piano legs. The piano is raised only 2-1/2″ from the floor, no higher than regular casters, so there is no interference with the pedal height and position when playing. Pianists can simply enjoy uninterrupted performance at all times.
